Location: Industrial area of El Pla, Molins de Rei - San Feliu de Llobregat (Barcelona).

 

Laureà Miró street is an old road from Barcelona and Real Road which links the metropolitan centers and serves as the main street of the territory. It can be seen from the perspective of backbone linking Barcelona with the rest of the towns bordering Llobregat River. For this reason the project keeps the longitudinal axis in terms of infrastructure and, at the same time, gives a transverse relationship with the adjacent elements such as the agricultural park, the highway and residential areas.

The project consists of a walk along Laureà Miro. On the one hand, this includes a bike lane and continues the line of the tram from Barcelona. On the other hand, there is a vehicle lane included in the pedestrian area that allows vehicles  to park inside industrial buildings.

In order to achive the improvment of the street, it has been a key to work with some strategic points that give character to the place. All of them have different singular buildings. The most important one is located at the inflection point, which allows the views from both ends of the street.
