Location: C/Ali Bei, C/Nàpols, C/ de Ribes (Barcelona).

 

The project is located in the interior block of the former housing project, placed in Eixample (Barcelona).

Following the block models in Eixample, we place new housing models for refugees inside the block.
Preserving the passage of the street Ali Bei, the project generates a route between the Triumphal Arch and Ferrater's Block.

 

The housing modules for refugees are rooms for four people. They share a bathroom and a living area although the bedroom may or may not be independent of each other by means of sliding panels.
Each bedroom has access to a courtyard shared with the adjacent dwelling. The yards are connected to the interior façade of the two housing superposed volumes of the former project.
